debut new track

"Loose Buttons' Arctic Monkeys-esque vocals will instantly hook you at the start, but then their electrifying guitars and explosive drums will make you want to stick around. "'Between Brick Walls' was penned after a much-needed epiphany that my ex and I were fundamentally wrong for each other," frontman Eric Nizgretsky tells Baeble. "Being the train-wreck romantic that I am, I made the mistake of keeping the relationship alive for much longer than I should have. Truthfully, I did it because I was insecure about being alone. The song is about going through the motions to avoid that dreaded loneliness."

It's hard to tell that this new Loose Buttons track is about being a desperate romantic because it just sounds so, for lack of better words, cool. Between the black leather jackets and the NYC-based indie rock sound, their overall attitude emits utter confidence, and we're suckers for it. I mean, rockstars with emotions? Yes, please.

"Between Brick Walls" is off of Loose Buttons' upcoming EP, Sundays, out February 24th. They will also be playing a residency at NYC's Pianos every Wednesday at 8pm in February." - Baeble
